CEDP needed to launch a new innovation-focused learning pathway for senior students by Day 1, Term 1, 2020, with no prior business case, design, or construction underway, and a fixed, non-negotiable timeline.
The Tailored Solution:
Implemented a fast-tracked delivery strategy across design, procurement, construction, and operations
Recommended a blended Managing Contractor / Design & Construct contract, new to CEDP
Conducted intensive collaborative workshops to align stakeholders and sub-contractors
Explored 24-hour site operation opportunities and optimized neighbourhood constraints
Provided change management support for staff transitioning to a non-traditional teaching model
Results / Outcomes / Metrics:
Delivered the equivalent of 18 months of work ($13M) in 10 months
Notice of Completion issued 4 weeks before the critical launch date
Successful revitalisation of two campuses into innovation-focused colleges
