Client Challenge: 

Aurora Energy required modern and efficient workspaces for their offices. For Launceston, the office needed to accommodate a doubling of full-time staff while providing collaborative and functional work zones. For Hobart, the challenge was to relocate the 3,000 sqm head office strategically, ensuring cost efficiencies, base building improvements, and smooth continuity during relocation.

Project Scope & Services Delivered:

FACTION Consulting provided project management, tenant advisory and superintendent services for both offices.

Services included: 

  • Corporate real estate strategy and relocation of the Hobart Head Office 

  • Sourcing and site selection process, including RFP and FCB, executive evaluation, and technical due diligence 

  • AFL negotiations with the final two proposed site locations 

  • Project management services, including establishment and appointment of the consultant team and associated scopes of service 

  • Stakeholder engagement management and interface with the landlord through early design phases 

  • Design coordination, construction tender request and review, and contract superintendency 

  • Fit-out delivery including collaborative work zones, large multifunction boardroom, training facilities, multi-faith rooms, quiet spaces, modern kitchen, and upgraded end-of-trip facilities
